In which category should I submit my work?

Academics/Teacher Trainers

Lecturers, teacher trainers, language teachers attached to any institution of higher learning must submit in this category. If you belong to this category but wish to present work related to your postgraduate studies, you must select the Ph.D. or Master’s category.

English Language Teachers

Teachers currently attached to pre-schools, primary (elementary) schools,  secondary (junior high/high) schools or Sixth Form/Matriculation colleges should submit in this category. If you belong to this category but wish to present work related to your postgraduate studies, you must select the Ph.D. or Master’s category.

Ph.D. Candidates

Only research related to doctoral studies should be presented in this category. Candidates who have completed their Ph.D. in 2019/2020 can also submit their research work in this category.

Master’s Students

Only research undertaken at the Master’s level should be presented in this category. Candidates who have completed their studies in 2019/2020 can also submit in this category.

Undergraduates/Pre-service Teachers

Students currently pursuing their undergraduate/pre-service teacher education programs at an institution of higher learning should register in this category.

How many co-authors can I have?

You can have up to a maximum of 2 co-authors. If your abstract is one of the first 100 which is accepted for presentation at the conference, only the lead author will be given a fee waiver as a “Pearson Sponsored Presenter”.  Co-authors must register separately following the existing fee schedule.

Is there a template for the e-poster submission?

You may make use of the sample template provided in the Downloads section of this conference website. However, we strongly encourage you to draw on your creativity to present your work.

You must ensure that the e-poster is submitted as a single page document. Multiple page submissions will be disqualified.

CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS
All papers presented in MIRCELE ONLINE 2020 will be peer-reviewed and selected papers will be published in the 10th Conference Proceedings published by Malaysian English Language Teaching Association (MELTA).
